RANDY JUDKINS

Randy Judkins began his acting career in 2nd grade as a cardinal in a short fable. In high school and in college, Randy acted in many play productions and sang in numerous musical groups. He graduated with a BS in Secondary Mathematics. In a few years he took a position as an associate Faculty member of the USM Theater Department; instructor of mime, character development, improvisation, and circus arts.

He studied with the internationally known, celebrated artist and teacher, Tony Montanaro. From 1975 to present, Randy Judkins created a one man variety show of circus skills, magic, storytelling and improvisation. He was a member of the "Buckfield Leather ‘N Lather Traveling Variety Show" and "The New England New Vaudeville Variety Show" in the 80s and 90s He's worked with international, new vaudeville performing artists, Tom Murphy and Fred Garbo. He's also played "Uncle Wally" in an original musical about Maine tourism by Martin Jones, "You Can't Get There From Here."

Other acting experiences include: Commercials for Aroostook Bank & Trust, Hardy, Wolf and Downing, Central Maine Power Company, Hannaford and Cell Phones ‘N More. He's also been cast in a training film for new employees at Nichols of Portland, ME, Wetterau Inc., and the independent films, "Worst Case Scenarios" and "Maestro".

Randy was contracted to teach a series of master classes in Character & movement at Juilliard School of Drama in NYC.
In the summer of 2005 he gathered sponsors and raised over $1200.00 for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Portland by running in the Beach to Beacon 10K Road Race while juggling three balls the entire 6.2 miles.
